t. <br />Mr. Frank Appleby appeared before the Board and requested the <br />Board to consider the abandonment of easement dividing Lots 4 and 5 <br />Block 2, Lord Calvert Estates S/D. He presented a letter from Florida <br />Power & Light Co, advising that they did not object to the abandonment.and <br />the County Administrator stated that he saw no objections as far as <br />drainage was concerned. Thereupon, on Motion by Commissioner Bogosian, <br />seconded by Commissioner Macdonald, the following Resolution was un- <br />animously adopted: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 67-o <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian . <br />River County, Florida, that the easement now existing on the line dividing <br />Lots 4 and 5, Block 2, Lord Calvert Estates Subdivision, according to plat <br />thereof recorded in Plat Book 5, page 57, in the office of the Clerk of the <br />Circuit, Court of Indian River County, Florida, be and the same is herewith <br />abandoned and this board does herewith relinquish and disclaim the rights of <br />the public, acquired by the dedication of said plat insofar as it pertains to the <br />above described easement. <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />Sheriff Sam T. Joyce requested permission to purchase the necessary <br />paint for painting the jail inside and ou t.and presented quotations he <br />had received from Crosby Builders Supply Company and the Sherwin-Williams <br />Company, the low quotation being from the Sherwin-Williams Company in <br />the total amount of $479.06. Commissioner Macdonald moved,` seconded by <br />Commissioner Bogosian and unanimously carried, that the request of the <br />Sheriff be approved. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />Dritenbas and unanimously carried, the Sheriff's Budget Amendment No. 2, <br />to transfer $4,000 from Reserve for Contingencies to Expenses other than'. <br />Salaries, was approved. <br />SEP 6 1967 <br />g0OA iU'A6t f . <br />
