WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 22, 1967. <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida <br />met in regular session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, Florida on <br />Wednesday, November 22, 1967 at 8;30 A. M. Present were Robert W. <br />Graves, Chairman; D. B. McCullers, Jr., Vice Chairman; Donald <br />Macdonald, Richard P. Bogosian and Jack U. Dritenbas. Also present <br />were Jack G. Jennings, County Administrator; Sherman N. Smith, Jr., <br />County Attorney; and Alfred H. Webber and Janet Burriss, Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and asked if there were <br />any corrections or additions to the minutes of November 8, 1967. <br />There were none, and on Motion made by Commissioner Dritenbas, <br />seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried, the <br />minutes were approved as written. <br />Rosemary Ritchie, Supervisor of Elections appeared before the <br />Board requesting instruction from the Board as to the procedure <br />they would like her to use in selecting the Jury List from the <br />eligible returned questionnaires. After discussion, she was <br />instructed to submit to the Board for approval a list obtained by <br />selecting every fifth registered eligible voter. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />Bogosian and unanimously carried tha the "recommendation of the <br />Zoning Board for final public heari of the E. H. Auten zoning <br />change be approved fot 9:00 A. M. o the 20th day of December. <br />A Motion was made by Commissio er ttacdonald, seconded by <br />Commissioner Bogosian and unanimous y carried that this Board requests . <br />the Indian River Mosquito Control D'strict to convey without charge <br />to Indian River County the drag -lin and welder on which they are <br />presently requesting bids for sale. It is the thought of this <br />Board in making this request that t e identical taxpayers pay for <br />all of the equipment of the Mosquit• Control District as well as for <br />that of the County. It has been thpractice of this Board, in past <br />years, to cooperate fully with other taxing Boards of the County <br />in the donation of land, labor and materials, and the Board is, <br />therefore, requesting similar cooperation from the �Montalto <br />��� <br />District.
