A Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Bogosian and unanimously carried that the claim for <br />damages of Mrs. Charlene Williams and Mr. Norbett E. Williams for <br />injuries suffered in an automobile accident on Cherry Lane on <br />December 8, 1966 be referred to the County Attorney and the County <br />Insurance Carrier. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by <br />Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried that the Board has <br />received the report from the Supervisor of Elections, of her <br />examination of the petition to establish a Special Improvement <br />it <br />Service District within the area described in the petition under <br />the provision of Chapter 61-2277, Laws of Florida, and finds that <br />the petition has been properly signed by the required number of <br />qualified electors residing within the district who own real property <br />and whosare registered as free holders. <br />The County Attorney reported to the Board that the County has <br />completed the portion of the purchase of Round Island Park from <br />Julian and Lillian Lowenstein, and the portion of the purchase from <br />A. L. and Fred F. Liebert is nearly completed. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried the dog resolution <br />drafted by the County Attorney was referred to the County Administrator <br />and the Humane Society of Vero Beach for suggestions as to details, <br />license fees, etc., with the view of adopting it at a later meeting. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Bogosian, the request of the Indian River Historical <br />Commission to appoint Wally Skiscim, J. Noble Richards and Joe <br />Michael to fill vacancies in the Commission was unanimously approved. <br />The Board found no objections to the request of Commissioner <br />Bogosian to presenty Griggs at a later meeting for the purpose of <br />discussing insurance for some of the County employees. <br />After some discussion, and due to the fact that Commissioner <br />Dritenbas was absent from this meeting, a Motion was made by <br />Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner Macdo d, <br />609k PAa8 <br />DEC 201966 <br />
