<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN,.
<br />that the Board of County Commis-
<br />sioners of Indian River County,
<br />Florida, will receive sealed bids to
<br />the hour of 9:00 o'clock A.M. on
<br />Wednesday, January 24, 1968, and
<br />at said time publicly open the same
<br />at a meeting of said Board to be
<br />;held in the County Commissioners
<br />Room, Indian River County Court-
<br />house, Vero Beach, Florida, for
<br />sale to said County the following
<br />described personal property:
<br />500' of 6" header pipe and re-
<br />quired well points as per speci-
<br />fications.
<br />Bid forms and detailed specifica-
<br />tions may be obtained upon applica-
<br />tion to the County Road and Bridge
<br />Dept. Room 114, Courthouse, Vero
<br />Beach, Florida.
<br />The County will furnish all tax
<br />exemption certificates to which it
<br />'s entitled and reserves the right
<br />to reject any and all bids.
<br />All bids shall be in an envelope
<br />securely sealed, and marked on the.
<br />outside, "Bid for Header Pipe, open
<br />date January 24, 1968."

<br />The Chairman read the foregoing Notice and sealed bids were
<br />opened and read as follows:

<br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Bogosian seconded by
<br />Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried, the lbw bid of.
<br />Griffin Wellpoint Corporation for $5,449.00 was accepted, subject
<br />to the approval of the Administrator.
<br />Mr. John Studer, resident of location of 27th Avenue and
<br />Glendale Road,appeared before the Board stating that the volume of
<br />traffic on these two roads has come to the point where they are
<br />endangering his property at a corner of the intersection. After
<br />some discussion, the Board informed Mr. Studer that Emerson Avenue
<br />was the first road to be rebuilt on its Secondary Road Program;
<br />and that the situation might be improved if he and Mr. Locke were
<br />to remove some of their shrubbery from the area so that vim' n
