contain the reasons therefor. <br />Section 20. CONDITION OF THE PERMIT. The Building Offi- <br />cial shall act upon an application for a permit with plans as filed, or <br />as amended, without unreasonable or unnecessary. delay. A permit <br />issued shall be construed to be a license to proceed with the work and <br />shall not be construed as authority to violate, cancel, alter, or set <br />aside any of the provisions of this code, nor shall s uch issuance of <br />a permit prevent the Building Official from thereafter requiring cor- <br />rection of errors in plans or in construction, or of violations of this <br />code. Any permit issued shall become invalid unless the work author- <br />ized by it shall have been commenced within six (6) months after its <br />issuance, or if the work authorized by such permit is suspended or <br />abandoned for a period of one year after the time the work is com- <br />menced; provided, that for cause, one or more extensions of time <br />for periods not exceeding ninety .(90) days each, may be allowed in <br />writing by the Building Official. <br />Section 21. SCHEDULE OF FEES. <br />(1) No permit shall be valid until the fees prescribed in this <br />section shall have been paid; nor shall an amendment to a permit be <br />approved until the additional fees, if any, shall have been paid. <br />(2) If any person commences any work on an electrical instal- <br />lation before obtaining the necessary permit, he shall be subject to <br />the penalty prescribed herein. <br />(3) When application for permit is approved and before a per- <br />mit is issued, a fee therefor shall be paid based on the following <br />schedule of rates: <br />LIGHT OUTLETS <br />1 to 8 outlets, , inclusive minimum <br />Over 8 outlets, the minimum charge of <br />$3.00 for the first 8 outlets plus <br />each additional outlet <br />SERVICES <br />Temporary for construction <br />17 <br />FEB 2 11869 <br />$:3.00 <br />.10 <br />2.50. <br />" PA E:12 <br />
