RESOLUTION NO. 68- <br />A RESOLUTION adopting building, electrical and plumb- <br />ing codes for designated areas in Indian River County, <br />Florida; regulating the construction, erection, alteration <br />and repair of buildings, structures or appurtenances <br />located outside the corporate limits of municipalities; <br />providing for said codes to become effective within the <br />limits of consenting municipalities; exempting buildings, <br />structures or appurtenances located outside municipali- <br />ties and used solely for agricultural purposes by persons <br />engaged in agriculture; making the provisions of this <br />resolution severable and providing an effective date. <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida,' <br />resolves: <br />ARTICLE I. APPLICATION OF RESOLUTION. - - <br />Section 1. TITLE. This resolution may be cited as the Indian <br />River County Building, Electrical and Plumbing Resolution. <br />Section 2. SCOPE. Since the western territory of said county <br />is remote and sparsely settled, thereby rendering the application of <br />this resolution unnecessary and its enforcement economically unfeas- <br />ible in such area, this resolution is effectiveonly in the territory of <br />Indian River County lying outside the corporate limits of municipali- <br />ties and east of the following described line: <br />Begin at the range line dividing Range 37 East and Range <br />38 East -at the south boundary line of Indian River County, <br />Florida, and proceed north on that line to the south line <br />of Township 31 South; thence west on that south township <br />line to the southwest corner of Township 31 South, Range <br />37 East; thence north on the range line which divides <br />Range 36 East and Range 37 East to the north boundary <br />line of said county. <br />This resolution shall become effective within the corporate limits of. <br />any municipality located east of said line, the governing body of which <br />enacts an ordinance making the enabling act for this resolution and <br />this resolution applicable and effective in such municipality. <br />Section 3. AGRICULTURAL EXEMPTION. Nothing contained <br />in this resolution shall be construed to apply to or effect buildings, <br />structures or appurtenances located outside the corporate limits of <br />FEB 2 noon 11 PuE107 <br />� 1��8 <br />
