The County Attorney reported that he was publishing a Notice <br />in the Press Journal of a public hearing on the question of the <br />Community Action Agency to be held before the Board at the <br />meeting of April 10, 1968 at 11:001o'clock A. M. <br />The County Attorney reported that the Trustees of the <br />Internal Improvement Fund will hold a public hearing on the <br />proposed enlargement of the Pelican Island National Wildlife <br />Refuge to be held in the County Commissioners Room on Friday, <br />March 29, 1968 at 7:30 otclock P. M. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers the following Resolution was unanimously <br />adopted: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 68-20 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, resolves: <br />1. That the establishment of the county public park known as <br />Kiwanis - Hobart Park was made initially feasible through the efforts of Mr. <br />E. A. Hobart and Mr. Hobart's interests have continued by his contribution <br />of the sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5, 000.00) to the county for development <br />of the park and his latest expression at the formal dedication of the park on <br />March 14, 1968, was a further contribution of the sum of Five Thousand <br />Dollars ($5, 000. 00). <br />2. That this Board and its individual members do herewith <br />express to Mr. E. A. Hobart their sincere thanks and appreciation for his <br />continuing assistance and contributions toward the developMent of this public <br />park for the use and benefit of all of the citizens of Indian River County. <br />3.
