During the site <br />visit, the corrosion expert and our structural engineer determined while the walkways over the <br />clarifiers and the mechanisms can be salvaged; by painting and cleaning, the walkway between <br />the clarifiers is beyond repair and need replacement. Following is a summary of the <br />repair/replacement scope: <br />• Rehabilitate the clarifier mechanisms for clarifiers # 1 and #2. <br />• Rehabilitate the clarifier walkways for clarifiers # 1 and #2. <br />• Replace the sludge squeegees on the clarifier <br />mechanisms <br />Jr this task after the mechanism rehab. <br />• Replace walkway between clarifiers #I and #2. <br />• Paint clarifiers #1 and #2 exterior <br />• Paint existing chlorine building and fascia board. <br />(County maintenance_ can <br />Engineering services related to this scope were not anticipated or included in the original scope. <br />Scope of these additional services will include the following: <br />• Conduct site visit <br />• Prepare a condition assessment and rehab recommendation report <br />• Review Report with County and prepare drawings/sketches for Walkway between <br />clarifiers #1 and #2. <br />• Prepare and issue change order. <br />
