TUESDAY, APRIL 9, 1968 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida met in special session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, <br />Florida on Tuesday, April 9, 1968 at 2:00 o'clock P. M. Present <br />were Robert W. Graves, Chairman: D.B. McCullers, Jr., Vice <br />Chairman; Donald Macdonald; Richard P. Bogosian and Jack U. <br />Dritenbas. Also present were Jack G. Jennings, County <br />Administrator; Sherman N. Smith, Jr., County Attorney; Ralph <br />Harris, Clerk of the Circuit Court; Sam T. Joyce, Sheriff, <br />Thomas H. Trent, Civil Defense Director and Janet N. Burriss, <br />Deputy Clerk. <br />Also present were Charles <br />Sebastian; D. G. Frisby, Mayor of the City of Fellsmere; Hobart <br />Lester, President of the City Council of Fellsmere; J. Noble <br />Richards, Mayor of the City of Vero Beach; James Pryde, City <br />Manager of Vero Beach; James T. Vocelle, City Attorney of Vero <br />Beach; Wallace Gossett, Chief of Police of Vero Beach and Guy <br />Sullivan, Chief of the Vero Beach Fire Department. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and the County <br />Attorney reported that after conversing with the Sheriff and <br />Members of the Board of County Commissioners regarding a disturbance <br />which occured in the Gifford area on the evening of April 8, which <br />the Sheriff felt was caused by intoxicated persons, he had been <br />requested to prepare a Resolution relative to the hours during <br />which alcoholic beverages might be sold by establishments holding <br />liquor licenses in the County. <br />Zimmerman, Mayor of the City of <br />After considerable discussion by members of the Board and <br />other persons'present, Commissioner Macdonald moved, Commissioner <br />McCullers seconded and it was unanimously carried that the following <br />Resolution be adopted: <br />ROO 11 AGE ' <br />9P.. 00l .. <br />
