A . to represent Indian River County ' s <br /> interests in the above - referenced matter . This letter sets forth the terms which would <br /> apply to such representation . <br /> Fees for our services would be based on the actual time expended by me or an associate <br /> working on this hatter . Currently, my hourly billing rate is $ 290 . 00 , and the hourly <br /> billing rate for associates is $ 250 . 00 . I have agreed that our fees would not exceed <br /> $ 30 , 000 . 00 , without further approval . Also , we envision a cooperative representation , <br /> with the County Attorney ' s office acting as local co - counsel to attend hearings , as needed , <br /> which would help defray the cost . <br /> If the foregoing terms and conditions are acceptable, please indicate the County ' s <br /> approval and acceptance by signing , dating , and returning a copy of this letter . <br />
