• <br />The County Administrator presented a tentative plat of <br />a Subdivision known as Eastview Gardens and recommended its <br />tentative approval as meeting County Subdivision Requirements. <br />Upon Motion by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Dritenbas and unanimously carried, the recommended tentative <br />approval was given for Eastview Gardens. <br />The County Administrator presented a tentative plat of a <br />Subdivision known as Karr Subdivision and recommended its <br />tentative approval as meeting County Subdivision Requirements. <br />Upon Motion by Commissioner Dritenbas, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald and unanimously carried, the recommended tentative <br />approval was given for Karr Subdivision. <br />The County Administrator presented a tentative plat of a <br />Subdivision known as Green Acres Subdivision. As some of the <br />lots in this Subdivision fronted on three streets, there was <br />a question as to the frontage, and it was decided that this <br />tentative application be held in abeyance until the next meeting. <br />A petition was received from thirteen families in Tropicolony <br />Subdivision requesting that a pond in a park area be cleaned. <br />After considerable discussion it was decided that the Administrator <br />be authorized to contact Mr. Cox of the Indian River Drainage <br />District and request him to spray the pond. <br />Sam T. Joyce, Sheriff reported on the effects of Resolution <br />68-21 adopted by the Board on April 9,, 1968 regarding the early <br />closing of establishments selling alcoholic beverages, stating <br />that the results were very satisfactory. After some discussion <br />the Board decided that the Sheriff should contact the Chairman <br />of the Board when he thought this, Resolution could be rescinded <br />and a special meeting would be called. The Chairman commended <br />the Sheriff and his deputies on the fine work they have done <br />in this event. <br />144 11 *IQ <br />APR10 1968 <br />
