N� 1 � <br />Amendment No. 11 — Professional Engineering Services Agreement RECD <br />IRC Project No. 9810 (CAI Job # 98-23E)��"D'`` <br />Dear Chris: <br />We are pleased to present this proposed amendment for additional professional engineering services relative <br />preparing legal descriptions and sketches for storm drainage easements and acquisition parcels, design of <br />additional storm water management facilities, re -grading of intersections for future s>gnalization and the <br />addition of a 6 foot wide sidewalk along the west side of 66TH Avenue, all in conjunction with the Phase 2 <br />portion of the 60 Avenue paving and drainage improvements project (4`h Street to 16`h Street). All <br />provisions of the original Professional Engineering Services Agreement (dated November 17, 1998), <br />including Amendment Nos. 1 through 10, shall remain in full force and effect, unless otherwise specifically <br />modified herein. The following further describes our proposed scope of services and terms of agreement <br />between Carter Associates, Inc. (Engineer) and Indian River County (County): <br />Legal Descriptions & Sketches: <br />CAI shall develop a total of (22) twenty-two Sketches and (28) twenty-eight Descriptions comprised of (19) <br />nineteen storm drainage easements and (9) nine acquisition parcels along the subject route of 66th Avenue, <br />4th Street (secondary roadway), 8th Street (secondary Roadway) and 12th Street (secondary roadway). The <br />work is further described as follows: <br />1. Research and retrieve parcel identification card from the Indian River County property <br />appraiser's web site of each of the subject parcels. Retrieve listed description and verify parcel <br />identification with owner of each. A search of the Indian River County Clerk of the Circuit Court <br />Records will be made if record listed document is not available from web site. (An updated title <br />search report of the subject parent parcels is recommended but is not included). <br />2. Utilize listed parent parcel description to develop new descriptions for easements or parcel <br />acquisitions. <br />3. Prepare and develop a "Sketch and Description" for each specific case of easement or parcel <br />acquisition. (Not a Survey) <br />4.
