<br /> THIS is an amendment to the existing AGREEMENT dated NOVEMBER 17 , 1998 , including
<br /> AMENDMENTS NUMBER 1 through 13 , between CARTER ASSOCIATES , INC . ( ENGINEER) and
<br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY (COUNTY) . The proposed scope of work includes plan revisions , utility
<br /> relocation coordination and permit modifications as needed to support right- of-way acquisitions . All
<br /> ell

<br /> provisions of the original Professional Engineering Services Agreement including Amendment Nos . 1
<br /> through 13 shall remain in full force and effect, unless otherwise specifically modified . This amendment
<br /> addresses changes in " SCOPE OF SERVICES ", " COMPENSATION" and "TIME OF COMPLETION" of
<br /> the AGREEMENT .

<br /> This section of the AGREEMENT entitled SECTION V - COMPENSATION shall be revised in

<br /> response to the Scope modifications set out herein . The charges associated with this AMENDMENT NO . 14
<br /> are as follows :
<br /> Amendment No . 14 Not —to - exceed total $330 , 000 . 00
<br /> The charges associated with the AGREEMENT (which include changes from Amendments 1 through 13 and
<br /> these additional services included in proposed Amendment 12 ) , shall be increased from $ 649 , 825 . 00 to
<br /> $ 6799825 . 00 .
