• • • <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Graves, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald and unanimously carried, that the Board of County Commissioners, <br />sitting as a Board of Equalization, adjourn, sine die. <br />The Board then re -convened as Board of County Commissioners. <br />It was Moved by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner . <br />Graves and unanimously carried that, the Board having reviewed the <br />Clerk's Tentative Budget.ai submitted on July 10, 1968 together with <br />the tax roll as approved on July 25, 1968, the Clerk is directed to <br />compute ad valorem taxes on the basis of the County taxable valuation <br />of $249,316,236 using the same millages as contained in his tentative <br />budget, and to make corresponding increases in Reserves for Contingencies <br />as follows: <br />From To <br />General Fund (County) $70,000.00 $79,528.41 <br />Road & Bridge Fund 26,588.00 29,080.73 <br />Fine & Forfeiture (County) 8,594.50 10,569.88 <br />Fine & Forfeiture (Sheriff) 10,000.00 12,000.00 <br />The resulting revised budget being tentatively approved, the <br />Clerk is directed to advertise a public hearing on the budget to be <br />held on Wednesday, August 21, 1968 at 8:30 o'clock A.
