OCTOBER leo, '' 1968 <br />Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida <br />session at the Courthouse, <br />Florida at 7:30 <br />M. Present were Jack U. Dritenbas,.Chairman; D. B. <br />McCullers, Jr., Vice Chairman; Donald Macdonald and Richard P. Bogosian. <br />Also present were Jack G. Jennings, Administrator; Sherman N. Smith, Jr., <br />County Attorney and Janet N. <br />Also present were freeholders who <br />Improvement Service District, the Business Men and Women's League of <br />Indian` River <br />County and their attorney,>GrahamStikelether and the <br />members` of Urban Development Utilities and their attorney, Kenneth <br />The meeting wascalledfor the purpose that the members of these <br />might be heard before the Board and to acquaint them with the progress <br />aving been made by Urban Development Utilities <br />he Chairman called the meeting to order and gave the Chair to <br />ommissioner Bogosian who has been mediator for the groups. <br />Engineers Hammock and Clark from Reynold, Smith and Hill Engineering <br />and Mr. Roberts of the Farmer's Home Administration were presented <br />turn, and outlined the program as. '.set forth by Urban Development <br />Utilites and the advantages for thepeople over any other system. <br />After considerable discussion it was decided that members of the <br />above groups would work in unison to acquire as many memberships as <br />possible so that the system and franchise might be extended to cover <br />persons interested in procuring water as is feasibly possible. <br />There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 11:45 <br />o'clock: P. M. <br />
