WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 6,', 1968 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida <br />met in regular session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, Florida on <br />Wednesday, November 6, 1968 at 8:30 o'clock A. M. Present were Jack <br />e <br />U. Dritenbas, Chairman; D. B. McCullers, Jr., Vice Chairman; Donald <br />Macdonald and Richard P. Bogosian. Absent was Robert W. Graves. <br />Also present were Jack G. Jennings, County Administrator; Sherman N. <br />Smith, Jr., County Attorney; and Alfred H. Webber and Janet N. Burriss, <br />Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and asked if there were <br />any corrections or additions to the minutes of October 23, 1968. <br />There were none and upon.a Motion made by Commissioner Bogosian, <br />seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried the <br />Minutes of October 23 were approved as written. <br />Frank Rogel, representing the Carter Engineering Firm, appeared <br />before the Board regarding the tentative approval of Indian River <br />Acres Subdivision. The County Administrator presented the tentative <br />plat of the Subdivision known as Indian River Acres Subdivision as <br />meeting County Subdivision Requiremeits and recommended its tentative <br />approval with the provision that all work be done to comply with <br />County Subdivision Regulations. Upon a Motion made by Commissioner <br />Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried, <br />the tentative approval was given for Indian River Acres Subdivision as <br />recommended by the County Administrator. <br />Julian W. Lowenstein appeared before the Board requesting that he <br />be allowed to use swale ditches as the drainage system in a part of <br />Unit #3, River Shores Estates Subdivision as the unit was near <br />completion at the time Miami Type Gutters was made a part of the County <br />Subdivision Regulations, and a change to this type of gutter would <br />run into considerable expense at this time. A Motion was made by <br />Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously <br />carried that the request of Julian Lowenstein to use swale ditches <br />NOV 6 1968 Snot( 11 Put425 <br />
