A Motion was made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald and unanimously carried that an extension of time be granted <br />to Summer Place Homes, Inc. in accordance to their letter of October <br />30, 1968, and that the time for completion of Coca Plum Road in <br />accordance with the agreement of February 2, 1967 be extended for a <br />period of two years in addition to the initial two years previously <br />provided in the agreement. <br />Upon a Motion made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald, the following Resolution was unanimously adopted: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 68- 64 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, resolves: <br />1. That all that part of 6th Avenue extending from the south limits <br />of the City of Vero Beach south to U. S. Highway No. 1 is a public road in <br />Indian River County, Florida, within the jurisdiction of this Board, outside of <br />any municipality and not included in the State Highway System nor in use as a <br />State Highway Detour, or State Park Road System and it is a county road main- <br />tained by this county within the meaning of Section 317. 821, Florida Statutes. <br />2. This Board has after investigation determined that all that part <br />of the above designated road by reason of its design, deterioration and limited <br />drainage facilities liable to be damaged or destroyed by motor vehicles if the <br />gross weight of any motor vehicle shall exceed 2 1/2 tons. <br />3. Pursuant to the authority vested in this Board and in order to <br />provide for the public safety and convenience on said road, the operation of <br />any motor vehicle or combination having a gross weight in excess of 2 1/2 <br />tons is hereby prohibited and declared to be a violation of law. <br />4. The provisions of this Resolution shall become effective upon <br />posting notice hereof at conspicuous places at terminals of and all intermediat <br />cross roads and road junctions within the section of said county road above <br />described and the County Administrator is directedi%post maintain such <br />(i9fl j, PAGE .)U <br />NOV 6 1968 <br />notices. <br />
