7.7 <br />3st dr'• <br />Mr. Jerry Keen, appearing in regard to the above approved <br />Resolution appeared also inregard to the paving of Commerce Avenue <br />between 12th Street and U. S. 1 and the paving of llth Street <br />between Commerce Avenue and U. S. 1. He was advised by the Administrator <br />that the plans of his proposed shopping center would be considered <br />in the preparation for paving the above streets. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by <br />Commissioner Graves, the request of Mr. Janulis for pipe installation <br />was granted if Mr. Janulis will furnish the pipe; the request for <br />access road construction was unanimously denied. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />Graves and unanimously carried, the Administrator was authorized to <br />prepare specifications for and to advertise for the purchase of a <br />tractor and a jeep. <br />Thomas H. Trent, Civil Defense Director, appeared in regard to <br />repairs to the Civil Defense Building. He was advised that a <br />Committee consisting of Chairman Dritenbas, George Eyles and the <br />County Administrator were in need of more time to study more closely <br />the condition of the building and the relationship of the bids received <br />to the needs of the building, the Sheriff would furnish painting labor <br />if available at that time. <br />The Administrator left the meeting in order to evaluate the <br />bids for the endloader. <br />Sherman N. Smith, County Attorney reported that the Trustees of <br />the Internal Improvement Fund have requested the Counties in the State <br />of Florida to review their bulkhead lines and advise the Trustees <br />as to the position of the bulkhead lines. A Motion was made by <br />Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner Bogosian and <br />unanimously carried that the Board in accordance with the request of <br />the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund will hold a Public <br />Hearing for the purpose of reviewing the present established bulkhead <br />lines within the areas of the Sebastian and Indian Rivers at its <br />meeting on December 4th at 11:00 o'clock A. M. ; and the County invites <br />BOO 11 1:q419 <br />NOV 2 0 1968 <br />
