The Sheriff filed with the Board a statement of his appointments <br />of Joseph G. Adams, Jr. whose voting precinct is No. 4 A; and Gerald <br />W. Lynch whose voting precinct is No. 1 B; and John G. Melton whose <br />voting precinct is No. 3 A; and Hugh W. Penuel whose voting precinct <br />is No. 3 A; and Herman Prince, Jr. whose voting precinct is 1 B; and <br />Helen. M. Brown whose voting precinct is 1; and the said Deputy Sheriffs <br />filed their bonds with the Clerk of the Circuit`Court, which was <br />presented to the Board. On Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald, <br />seconded by Commissioner Bogosian and unanimously carried the bond of <br />said Deputy Sheriffs were approved and ordered filed with the Clerk of <br />the Circuit Court. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by <br />Commissioner Bogosian and the out of County travel of George Stoked, <br />County Service Officer to St. Petersburg on November'20,21, and 22 to <br />attend the Annual Mid -Winter Conference was unanimously approved. <br />Forrest N. McCullars, County Agricultural Agent, submitted two <br />bids for a new filing cabinet to be used in his office as follows: <br />O'Haire's Office Equipment $85.00 <br />Morse's 65.00 <br />The Agricultural Agent recommended the bid of O'Haire's Office <br />Equipment as it matched the other furniture in his office and was <br />more adequate to his needs. On a Motion made by Commissioner Bogosian, <br />seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried the bid <br />of O'Haire's-Office Equipment in the amount of $85.00 for a filing <br />cabinet for the office of the County Agricultural Agent was accepted. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />Bogosian and unanimously carried that an appraisal be made on Lots 8 <br />and 9, Block 30, Original Town which might be purchased by the County. <br />The Administer reported that he had received the tentative <br />advertisement on the bids for the settling of the Courthouse foundation <br />and that it might be advertised in the very near future. <br />
