A Motion was made by Commissioner Massey; seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried that these bids be givento the <br />Administrator for evaluation. The Administrator stated that they <br />would be given to Mr. Israel of the Universal Engineering Testing <br />Company for evaluation. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner <br />Massey and unanimously carried the bid of Don Smith's Paint Store for <br />painting the ambulance building, in the amount of $1,725, was, on the <br />recommendation of the Administrator, rejected, and the Administrator <br />was authorized to readvertise. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Bogosian, on the recommendation of the Administrator, the low bid of <br />Fort Pierce Jeep Company in the amount of $3,459.89 was unanimously <br />accepted for the new 1969 jeep type vehicle. <br />The Administrator reported that there would be further evaluation <br />on the five bids for the new tractor. On a Motion made by Commissioner <br />Massey, seconded by Commissioner Loy, the Administrator was requested <br />to report at the next meeting. <br />The Sheriff filed with the Board a statement of his appointments <br />of Betty W. Khail as Deputy Sheriff, whose voting precinct is No. 31'-; <br />Curtis Stone as Deputy Sheriff, whose voting precinct is No. 4-B; <br />Herman Prince as Deputy Sheriff,, whose voting precinct is No. 1-B; <br />David Overall as Deputy Sheriff, whose voting precinct is No. 4-B; <br />John G. Melton as Deputy Sheriff, whose voting precinct is No. 3-A; <br />Gerald W. Lynch as Deputy Sheriff, whose voting precinct is No. 1-B; <br />Helen M. Brown as Deputy Sheriff, whose voting precinct is No. 1; <br />John E. Banks as Deputy Sheriff, whose voting precinct is No. 5-A; <br />Joseph G. Adams, Jr. as Deputy Sheriff, whose voting precinct is No. 4-A; <br />Don Owens as Deputy Sheriff, whose voting ;';reainct is No. 11-11;; <br />Vernon W.
