Indian River County <br /> Page 2 <br /> Program Progress Reports : We will continue to use the semi-annual summary progress report form to <br /> assess your county's progress on applicable items in Attachment D , Deliverables . Your State Emergency <br /> Management Regional Coordinator will be in contact with you to schedule two progress assessment meetings <br /> during the year to review the status of your work items . <br /> An after-action report must be submitted within thirty (30) days following full or partial County <br /> Emergency Operation Center (EOC) activation when activated at a level equivalent to a State EOC level two <br /> (2) or above during the period of this Agreement . Also, within 60 days of execution of this Agreement, you <br /> must provide copies of any new or updated ordinances currently in effect which expressly address emergency <br /> management, disaster preparedness , civil defense, disasters, emergencies or otherwise govern the activation of <br /> the local emergency management program provided in s . 252 . 38 , Florida Statutes . <br /> Scope of Work: Attachment B , the EMPA Base Grant Agreement is to provide each county with the <br /> means to successfully manage and operate an Emergency Management Program. Counties must be able to <br /> prepare for, respond to, recover from, and mitigate against natural and man-made disasters/ emergencies . <br /> Base Grant funding from the Emergency Management Preparedness and Assistance Trust Fund is <br /> intended to enhance county emergency management plans and programs that are consistent with the State <br /> Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan and Program (reference Rule Chapter 27P-6 , Florida <br /> Administrative Code and Chapter 252 , Florida Statutes) . This Scope of Work recognizes that each recipient <br /> is at a varying level of preparedness , and it is understood that each county has a unique geography, faces <br /> unique threats and hazards, and serves a unique population. <br /> As a reminder, prior written approval must be obtained from the Division of Emergency Management <br /> for any motor vehicle purchased with funds provided under this Agreement as required under Program <br /> Requirements, Attachment F , (3 ) Vehicles . <br /> All referenced report forms are available electronically from your contract manager. <br /> We look forward to working with you again this year.
