F'_220 <br />The Board of County Commissioners then adjourned until Tuesday, July 9th, 1929. <br />ATTEST: Chairman -- - -- <br />&iL4 ��� <br />C 1 e rk. <br />TUESDAY, JUDY 9th 1929. <br />The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River county, Florida, met at <br />the Court House <br />in <br />Nero Beach, at 10 <br />o'clock <br />A.M.Tu6sday, <br />July 9th <br />1929, with the <br />following members <br />of <br />the Board presents <br />.Albert <br />0. Helseth, <br />chairman; <br />J.D.Yongue; <br />J.V,,la3ruce; J.10.I1amilton and John H. Atkin. Also present were Miles barren, Clerk <br />and Clark S. Rice, :�ieriff. <br />The Notary Public bond of Jas J. Rick, in the sum of X500.00 with The American <br />F)Urety Company, a corporation as surety was approved. <br />A request signed by J.E.Dixon and U.B.Hourse, Trustees of Special :School Taxing <br />District No. 14 (Fe llsmere) requesting the Board to levy not more than 15 mills tax for <br />Interest & Sinking fund to pay interest on bonds outstanding and the retirement of bondee <br />debt, instead of the amount certified by the school Board as necessary. After consider- <br />able discussion it was ordered that not more than 15 mills will be levied for the year <br />1929 for such interest and sinking fund. <br />The Tax Assessor, W.R.Duncan, filed his report of fees and commissions and expenses <br />in operating the office, for the six months period ending June 30th 1929, as follows: <br />REPORT OF TAX ASSESSOR <br />To the Comptroller$ State of Florida,, Under section 407' Revised General Statutes of <br />Flo rids. <br />Vor the six months ending.
