On a Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Massey and unanimously carried the Clerk was authorized <br />to write a letter of intention to the City of Vero Beach that <br />the.amount of $60,000.00 is being included in the tentative 1969-70 <br />County Budget to the City for fire protection by the City in the <br />areas outside of the City. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Loy and the applications for renewal for pistol permits <br />for George Charles, Jr. and Joe S. Culpepper were unanimously <br />approved. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Loy, the request of Rosemary Richey, Supervisor of <br />Elections to attend the Annual Convention of Supervisors of Elections <br />in Palm Beach on August 12, 13, 14 and 15, 1969; and the request of <br />Forrest N. McCullars, County Agricultural Agent to attend Indian <br />River Field Laboratory in Fort Pierce on July 31, 1969 and to attend <br />a University of Florida Fruit Crops Department Meeting on August 1 <br />and 2, 1969 were unanimously approved. <br />Letters from Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners <br />relating to 1969-70 State Health Department Budgetary Items were <br />received and ordered filed in the Office of the Clerk. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County having been <br />audited, were examined and found to be correct were approved and <br />warrants issued in settlement of same as follows: General Fund, <br />Nos. 2800 to 2834 inclusive; Road and Bridge Fund, Nos. 1715 to <br />1731 inclusive; Fine and Forfeiture Fund, Nos. 261 to 264 inclusive. <br />Such bills and accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk of <br />the Circuit Court, the warrants so issued from the respective funds <br />being listed in the Supplemental Minute Book as provided by the <br />rules of the Legislative Auditor, reference to such record and list <br />so recorded being made a part of these minutes. <br />There being no further business, on Motion made, seconded and <br />carried the Board then adjourned at 2:50 o'clock P. M. <br />
