B. T. Cooksey, W. E. Orth and S. G. Lysne appeared in regard <br />to zoning in the area of the Hibiscus Airpark. On a Motion made <br />by Commissioner Massey, seconded by Commissioner McCullers, it was <br />unanimously carried that with reference to Item 4, concerning <br />Hibiscus Airpark, W. E. Orth and S. G. Lysne, the recommendation <br />of the Zoning Commission for inclusion of airport height limitation <br />adjacent to that airport, similar to the zoning plan now applicable <br />to the Vero Beach Muniaipal Airport is approved for public hearing. <br />Robert Grice, appeared before the Board requesting six loads <br />of clean fill to be used in a new picnic area in the Jaycees Park. <br />Ori a Motion made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers, and unanimously carried the Administrator was authorized <br />to furnish six loads of fill for the Jaycee Park. <br />The Administrator reported that he had received 3 units of <br />the truck bids of March 5 Minutes from Fred Coyne Chevrolet Company <br />and that they had to be returned because they did not meet specifications. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Massey and unanimously carried that if the equipment bid in the <br />Minutes of March 5, 1969 is not delivered by August 5,1969, the <br />contract with Fred Coyne Chevrolet Company shall be voided and <br />new public bidding shall be held. <br />The Administrator reported that he had received a letter from <br />General Development Corporation regarding the streets of a <br />subdivision to be built in Sebastian. The Administrator was directed <br />to advise General Development Corporation they are to meet specifications <br />of a typical section which will be required where their streets join <br />the Roseland Road. <br />The Administrator reported that he had received a letter of <br />resignation from Henry Thompson, leasee of the Sebastian Inlet Park. <br />After some discussion, Commissioner McCullers and Commissioner Massey <br />were appointed as a committee to further investigate the matter and, <br />report their findings to the Board. <br />JUL 2 31969 �Jo f24,2 <br />
