William McClure, Superintendent of Schools appeared before the <br />Board requesting that, because of the heavy increase in school bus. <br />traffic, the stop signs on 43rd Avenue be turned to give right -of <br />-way to 43rd Avenue. Commissioner Loy reported that members of <br />the Board and the Administrator had been giving the school bus <br />situation considerable consideration. A Motion was made by <br />Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner Massey and unanimously <br />carried that the matter of the school bus traffic and the stop <br />signs on 43rd Avenue be referred to the Administrator for further <br />action. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Massey the applications for renewal of pistol permits of Howard J. <br />Preston and 0. F. Pippin were unanimously approved. <br />The Sheriff filed with the Board statement of his appointment <br />of William H. MacBlain whose voting precinct is <br />7 <br />, as Deputy <br />Sheriff and the said Deputy Sheriff filed his bond with the Clerk <br />of the Circuit Court, which was presented to the Board. On a <br />Motion made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by Commissioner Loy <br />and unanimously carried, the bond of said Deputy Sheriff was approved <br />and ordered filed with the Clerk of the Circuit Court. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Massey the State Witness Payroll for the County Court, May, 1969 <br />Term in the amount of $150.00; and the State Witness Payrolls for <br />the Circuit Court, Spring 1969,Term in the amount of $60.72; and <br />for the Spring, 1969 Term in the amount of $425.82 were unanimously <br />approved. <br />There being no further business, on Motion made seconded and <br />carried the Board of County Commissioners then adjourned at 9:08 <br />o'clock A.
