On a Motion made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner McCullers, it was unanimously carried that Commissioner Massey be appointed to serve as•a representative of the Indian River Board of County Commimiorer6 to the Indian River Mental Health Center. A letter was received from State Representative Charles Davis regarding a proposed bill banning the removal of oysters from the County by anyone excepting a licensed agent. The Administrator was instructed to ask Charles Davis to meet with the Board of County Commissioners at his earliest convenience. A letter was received from Taylor Simpson regarding a liaison meeting between the Board of County Commissioners and the City Council of Vero Beach which was set up for Thursday, October 23 in the evening. The Administrator was authorized to notify State Representative Charles Davis that the Board is in favor of the proposed bill submitted by him in regard to all water and sewer systems being regulated by the Florida Public Service Commission regardless of the number of members of the system. A letter was received from Jack Tierney regarding the recent lot size requirements used .by the State Board of Health for regulation of installation of septic tanks. The Administrator was requested to contact the State Board of Health to have them meet with the Board of County Commissioners at their earliest convenience. Commissioner Bogosian reported that he had received a request from a neighbor that a stop sign be placed at the exit of the Country Club Parking Lot.
