Rd. 60 <br />16th Avenue on <br />State Rd. 60 <br />6th Avenue on <br />State Road 60 <br />the estimated cost of which is $52,000, to be identified as Job <br />No. 88000-3901; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH: That the <br />Department and the, County for and in consideration of the premises <br />and of the sum of One Dollar each to the other in hand paid, the <br />receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do mutually covenant and <br />agree as follows: <br />THE DEPARTMENT AGREES: <br />1. To prepare plans and specifications for .the -work <br />involved, and advertise for bids for the equipment and materials. <br />The decision as to the type and make of equipment purchased will <br />be at the Department's discretion. <br />2. To furnish technical supervision during the instal- <br />lation phase of the work and finally inspect the completed project. <br />3. To pay the entire cost of said project using primary <br />funds therefor. <br />THE COUNTY AGREES: <br />1. That the equipment shall remain the property of the <br />Department, and it is hereby understood and agreed that the County <br />shall not, under any condition, remove the equipment which is the <br />subject matter of this Agreement for any reason without permission <br />and written consent of the.Department. <br />2. Upon completion of the installation, to assume the <br />sole responsibility for the maintenance of said flashing school <br />signs in accordance with the Department's policies and "Standard <br />Specifications for Traffic Control Signals and Auxiliary and <br />• <br />' <br />:, <br />a ti41, g:41. <br />OCT" a 1969 <br />
