K . ENVIRONMENTAL, INC . <br /> This AMENDMENT NO . 3 TO Work Order No . 1 ( Engineering ) is in accordance with the existing CONTINUING <br /> CONTRACT AGREEMENT dated August 16, 2011 between G . K . Environmental, Inc . (CONSULTANT) and Indian <br /> River County ( COUNTY) . ( G . K . Environmental was initially retained for the Oslo Boat Ramp Project under the <br /> March 15 , 2005 AGREEMENT, amended on March 4, 2008 and September 21 , 2010 ) <br /> This AMENDMENT NO . 3 TO Work Order No . 1 amends the agreement as follows : <br /> PROJECT LIMITS <br /> This AMENDMENT NO . 3 TO Work Order No . 1 is for the CONSULTANT to perform environmental services as <br /> required in Scope of Services for State and Federal Environmental Resource and individual permits , <br /> more <br /> specifically to assist the County in resolving local objections to the project . <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> As agreed upon between G . K . Environmental, Inc . and Indian River County, the CONSULTANT shall provide <br /> environmental services to complete all tasks as outlined in this AMENDMENT NO , 3 TO Work Order No . 1 and <br /> described in previously approved Amendments 1 and 2 . Amendment No . 3 is an estimated cost to complete <br /> additional Phase / Task ( X and XI ) as outlined below . G . K . Environmental, Inc . invoices will <br />be billed on an <br /> hourly basis , or lump sum . <br /> TASK X — GKE Assistance with Engineering and Legal Staff <br /> ($ 8, 500. 00) <br /> PHASE X : CONSULTANT will assist engineering and legal staff regarding existing objections and petition <br /> for hearing ( s ) regarding the ACOE permit denial and the pending SJRWMD Intent to Issue <br /> Permit . This amendment is solely for services required to assist the County staff with the local <br /> objections and any additional data collection , which had caused the USACOE to deny the <br /> permit and revise the project . <br /> TASK XI — Agency Required Mitigation " Plan Revisions" <br /> ( $4,300 .00) <br /> PHASE XI : Revised reduced wetland impacts were submitted prior to the Intent to Issue with the <br /> SJRWMD . This reduction in wetland impacts will result in reduction in required mitigation size <br /> ( and reduction in county cost ) from SJRWMD . In addition , per the ACOE' s current rule <br /> / <br /> guidance, they have not formally reviewed the mitigation plan . Changes in the plan will <br /> require revised UMAM assessments and revised agreements for both SJRWMD and ACOE, <br /> including a site inspection by the ACOE . <br /> � , <br />
