Such approval shall not impair the right of inspection and <br />rejection at the site during progress of the work or after completion, for size and <br />conditions of balls or roots, latent defects, injuries, etc. Remove rejected plants <br />immediately from the project site and replace with new material within two days. <br />F. Wildflower and Native Grass Seed Mix - Wildflower and Native Grass Seed <br />Mixes shall contain the following species: <br />1. All seed shall be labeled in accordance with federal and state (FDACS) <br />seed laws stating contents and minimum percent germination and <br />maximum percent weed seed content. Substitutions of species due to <br />availability or preference shall be approved in writing by the OWNER prior <br />to seeding the project. <br />4. Wildflower and Native Grass Seed Mix shall be seeded using a hydro - <br />seeder and spread evenly over the areas as shown on the Drawings. <br />After uniformly grading or hand raking the ground surface, prepare the <br />ground prior to seeding by disking or other appropriate means of <br />cultivation. The surface shall be free of ruts and graded in accordance <br />with the Drawings. The ground shall be free of weed growth either by <br />cultivation or spraying of approved herbicides. <br />5. Coordinate with County personnel before planting any plant groups. <br />OWNER will meet in the field with CONTRACTOR before each group is <br />planted to offer layout suggestions and convey the design intent. <br />6.
