This Amendment 91 to <br /> Work Order #27 has been prepared in accordance with the Professional Services Agreement <br /> (PSA) between Geosyntec and Indian River County Solid Waste Disposal District . An overview <br /> of the proposed project scope of activities follows . <br /> PROJECT OVERVIEW <br /> Geosyntec completed petroleum-related assessment activities at the Site on behalf of IRC in May <br /> 2010 . Field investigations identified the presence of low-level petroleum constituents in the soil <br /> and groundwater in two limited areas of the Site at concentrations above Florida Department of <br /> Environmental Protection (FDEP) soil and groundwater cleanup target levels . IRC purchased <br /> the Site in 2009 for the intended purpose of widening Oslo Road . As a component of the <br /> planned future use of the Site, the existing UST system requires closure in accordance with <br /> FDEP requirements and identified petroleum impacts to soil and groundwater warrant <br /> remediation .
