As requested by IRC , this fee proposal includes budget to implement activities <br /> required by FDEP as outlined in the RAPM Addendum No . 2 dated 7 July 2011 and approved by <br /> FDEP in a letter dated 20 September 2011 . Geosyntec has prepared this proposal (professional <br /> services as Exhibit 1 ) as Amendment No . 2 to existing Work Order No . 29 for the Continuing <br /> Contract Agreement for Professional Services between IRC SWDD and Geosyntec, dated 10 <br /> August 2004 , and amended effective 24 July 2007 . <br /> The remainder of this letter provides an overview of the project background , a description of the <br /> proposed scope of work, a budget estimate , and a discussion of the schedule for accomplishment <br /> of the work described herein . <br /> PROJECT BACKGROUND <br /> Based upon the discovery of chlorinated volatile organic compounds (CVOCs) in groundwater <br /> samples collected at the site in 1999 , Geosyntec has implemented ongoing assessment, semi - <br /> annual plume monitoring, and remediation activities , as required by the FDEP .
