ea <br />WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 1969 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />'Florida met in regular session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, <br />Florida on Wednesday,_ November 19, 1969 at 8:30 o'clock A. M. <br />Present were Jack U. Dritenbas, Chairman; Richard P. Bogosian, <br />Vice Chairman; D. B. McCullers, Jr.; Alma Lee Loy and Edward J. <br />Massey. Also present were Jack G. Jennings, County Administrator; <br />Paul D. Burch, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; <br />Alfred H. Webber and. Janet N. Turpan, Deputy Clerks. <br />The.Chairman called the meeting to order and asked if there <br />were any additions or corrections to the minutes of November 5, 1969. <br />The Chairman stated that on page 9, paragraph 6 the word "check" <br />should be changed to read "investigation". This change having been <br />made, a Motion was made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers and the minutes of November 5, 1969 were <br />unanimously approved as corrected. <br />Dewey Walker, County Zoning Inspector, reported on present <br />violations and said that he would present a complete list at the <br />next regular meeting. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by Commissioner <br />Loy, authorization for advertisement for public hearing for the <br />Henry Donatelli Property lying east of the Old Dixie Highway for a <br />zoning change from R2 to C-1, was unanimously approved. <br />William McClure, Superintendent, Indian River County School <br />Board, appeared before the Board stating that the bid on construction <br />of the proposed new elementary school had been rejected because it <br />was excessive; but that the plans were being revised and that building <br />would be started as soon as possible. This fact considered, a <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner <br />Loy and unanimously carried that the Clerk pay to the School Board, <br />out of race track funds, an amount of $109,000.00. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />MCCullers, the following Item to.Item Transfer was unanimously_ <br />'NOV 1 9 169i JJk ravc'e., <br />
