Commissioner McCullers left the Meeting. <br />Gordon Johnston, Attorney for the City of Indian River Shores, <br />appeared before the Board with the request that the County permit <br />the Town of Indian River Shores exclusively to make application for <br />procurement of the 1.2 acres of Federal Property to be released <br />by the Federal Government. After considerable discussion, the <br />Board decided that both the County and the Town of Indian River <br />Shores could submit applications for the property; <br />County Administrator <br />and the Attorney were to meet with Attorney Johnston at his office <br />on Thursday Morning to ascertain where the limits of the Town lie. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by <br />Commissioner Loy, the State Witness Payroll for the County Court, <br />November Term in the amount of $225.60 was unanimously approved. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by Commissioner <br />Loy, the applications of Fred Van Antwerp and Martin J. Kalix <br />for permits to carry firearms were unanimously approved. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Bogosian and unanimously carried that Merrill P. Barber and M. L. <br />Blume be"reappointed for a three year term to fill their vacancies <br />on the Indian River County Long Range Planning Authority. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County having been <br />audited, were examined'and found to be correct were approved and <br />warrants issued in settlement of same as follows: General Fund, <br />Nos. 275 to 353 inclusive; Road and Bridge Fund, Nos. 176 to 204 <br />inclusive; Fine and Forfeiture Fund, Nos. 122 to 129 inclusive; <br />Capital Outlay Fund, No. 154. Such bills and accounts being on <br />file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the warrants <br />so issued from the respective funds being listed in the <br />Supplemental Minute Book as provided by the rules of the Legislative <br />Auditor, reference to such record and list so recorded being made a <br />part of these minutes. <br />3 Li 1969 <br />
