WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 21, 1970 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida met in regular session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, <br />Florida on.Wednesday, January 21, 1970 at 8:30 o'clock A. M. <br />Present were Jack U. Dritenbas, Chairman; Richard P. Bogosian, <br />Vice Chairman; D. B. McCullers, Jr.; Alma Lee Loy and Edward J. <br />Massey. Also present were Jack G. Jennings, County Administrator; <br />Paul D. Burch, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; and <br />Alfred H. Webber and Janet N. Turpan, Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and asked if there <br />were any additions or corrections to the Minutes of January 7. <br />Commissioner Loy said that Paragraph 3, Page 76 should be changed <br />to read"that the Chairmanf Commissioner Sogosian and the Administrator <br />be appointed as a Committee to work with the Rotary Club and to <br />attend the meeting to be.held at St. Helen's Service Center. <br />Commissioner Loy stated that Paragraph 2, Page 78 should be changed <br />to read "such proposals to be received by the Clerk not later than <br />3:00 o'clock P. M. on February 18". These corrections having been <br />made, a Motion was made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers, and the Minutes of January 7, 1970 were unanimously <br />approved as corrected. <br />Dewey Walker, County Zoning Inspector, appeared before the <br />Board and reported on the progress made on Zoning Violations. <br />The County Administrator presented a final plat of a <br />Subdivision known as Island Harbor South Subdivision and <br />recommended its final approval as meeting County Subdivision <br />Requirements. Upon a Motion made by Commissioner Massey, seconded <br />by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried the recommended <br />final approval was given for Island Harbor South Subdivision <br />with the provision that all building be in accordance with County <br />Subdivision Regulations, and with the stipulation ihet the watq'r <br />easements and the roads are private easements and roads and will <br />not be maintained by the County. <br />21 1970 <br />i' <br />
