gilt . <br /> , a A . 3 . •per <br /> AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> Indian River County [ Grantee ] ,f <br /> AND <br /> Indian River Habitat for Humanity [ Developer ] <br /> FOR THE <br /> Neighborhood Stabilization Program 3 ( NSP3 ) <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, is entered this 16`h day of August, 2011 by and between the NSP3 Grantee of <br /> Indian River County ( herein called "Grantee" ) and Indian River Habitat for Humanity ( herein called <br /> " Developer" ) . <br /> WHEREAS, the Grantee has applied for and has been awarded funds from the United States <br /> Department of Housing and Urban Development ( HUD ) for a Neighborhood Stabilization Program 3 <br /> grant referred to herein as " NSP3 " ; and <br /> WHEREAS, Grantee wishes to engage Developer to assist Grantee in using a portion of the NSP3 <br /> award in accordance with applicable notices, regulations and guidance from HUD; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; it is agreed between the parties hereto that; <br /> I . SCOPE OF SERVICE <br /> Developer will be responsible for carrying out NSP3 activities in a manner satisfactory to Grantee and <br /> consistent with all standards required as a condition of providing these funds . Program activities will <br /> include the following uses and corresponding activities eligible under NSP3 : <br /> A . Developer Responsibilities <br /> 1 . This program activity involves the acquisition and development <br /> ( rehabilitation ) of residential property that has been foreclosed upon or abandoned , is <br /> blighted or is vacant in accordance with the definitions and requirements of the NSP3 <br /> program , to the extent that these activities are incorporated in this Section I and in <br /> Exhibit A . <br /> Specifically, Developer agrees to undertake the following activities : <br /> A . Identify foreclosed , abandoned , and blighted single-family residences in the <br /> NSP3 target area ; <br /> B . Contract for purchase homes meeting program criteria ; <br /> C . Complete all pre -acquisition due diligence activities; <br /> D . Acquire eligible properties ; <br /> E .
