<br />the Board of County Commissioners
<br />of Indian River County, Florida, will ,
<br />receive sealed bids to the hour of
<br />9:00 o'clock A.M. Wednesday, e
<br />March 18, 1970, and at said time
<br />publicly open the same at a meeting
<br />of said Board to be held in the
<br />County Commissioners' Room, ,i
<br />Indian River County Courthouse,
<br />Vero Beach, Florida, for the sale by
<br />the County for cash, of two used
<br />National Cash Register Com.
<br />putronic Accounting Machines,
<br />together with program bars and a
<br />supply of printed ledger and journal
<br />forms.
<br />The successful bidder shall assume .,
<br />all the expense of moving the
<br />machines from the first floor of the
<br />Indian River County Courthouse,
<br />and shall be responsible for their
<br />removal within thirty days from the
<br />date on which he Is notified by the
<br />County that his bid has been ac- '
<br />cepted.
<br />The County reserves the right to
<br />refect any and all bids.
<br />All bids should be submitted in
<br />sealed envelopes marked "Bid for
<br />two NCR Computronics. Open date
<br />March 18, 1970."
<br />If further information is desired,
<br />prospective bidders may contact the
<br />office of Ralph Harris, Clerk, Indian
<br />River County Courthouse, Vero
<br />Beach, Florida, where the equip-
<br />ment may be seen.

<br />The Chairman then called for receipt of bids in accordance with
<br />the Notice, and the following sealed bid was received, opened and
<br />read: National Cash Register Company
<br />Each Machine $100.00 Total $200.00
<br />Will pick up at their expense.
<br />A Motion,was made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner
<br />McCullers, and the bid of National Cash Register Company of $200.00
<br />to purchase the County's two NCR Computronic Machines was unanimously
<br />accepted.
<br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by
<br />Commissioner McCullers, the request of Gene Roddenberry to operate
<br />a junk yard, to be known as North Gifford Auto Salvage, was

<br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Massey, seconded -by
<br />Commissioner McCullers, and unanimously carried that the Roddenberry
<br />Brothers be granted an extenss�gr�%f1 tme to further clear their �Z)
