P <br />RESOLUTION 70-11 <br />WHEREAS, the General Services Administration of the United <br />States of America has declared certain property owned by the United <br />States of America in Indian River County, Florida, as surplus land <br />(G. S. A. Control D -Fla. - 675) available for development of public <br />parks and/or public recreational purposes, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commission of Indian River <br />County, Florida, desires to acquire this property for the development <br />of a public park to benefit all residents of Indian River County, and <br />WHEREAS, the United States of America has established <br />$17, 500.00 as a fair price for said land, <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida, resolves to purchase as soon as possible <br />from the United States of America surplus land in Indian River County, <br />Florida (G. S.A.
