A rc <br /> JOINT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN 3 <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> AND <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> THIS JOINT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT entered into on this 16 <br /> day of August , 2011 by the Board of County Commissioners of <br /> Indian River County , Florida , a political . subdivision of the . State of Florida , <br /> whose address is 1801 27th Street , Vero Beach , Florida 32960 , hereinafter <br /> referred to as " COUNTY " and the Indian River County Housing Authority , a <br /> public body corporate and politic pursuant to Florida Statute , Section 421 <br /> et seq . , whose address is 1028 20th Place , Vero Beach , Florida 32962 , <br /> hereinafter referred to as "HOUSING AUTHORITY" . <br /> In consideration of the mutual promises and agreements set forth <br /> below , hereby agree as follows . <br /> WITNESSETH : . <br /> WHEREAS , the COUNTY is currently participating in the <br /> Neighborhood Stabilization Program ( NSP ) and other programs that <br /> provide assistance to county residents in need of low cost housing ; and <br /> WHEREAS , the HOUSING AUTHORITY also participates in the NSP <br /> administered by the COUNTY ; and <br /> WHEREAS , both parties seek to continue their respective roles in the <br /> aforementioned program for the foreseeable future ; and <br /> WHEREAS , the COUNTY has been lending staff assistance to the <br /> HOUSING AUTHORITY to implement the NSP program ; and <br /> WHEREAS , the HOUSING AUTHORITY has been assisting the <br /> COUNTY as a qualified NSP entity , <br /> NOW , THEREFORE , in consideration of the mutual benefits and other <br /> adequate consideration acknowledged by the parties , the parties do agree <br /> as follows . <br /> 1 . The above recitations are true and correct and incorporated by <br /> reference herein . <br /> 1 <br />
