the necessary steps to improve the condition of the road. <br />Mrs. Prindible,a resident of Idlewild Subdivision appeared <br />regarding drainage on her property; and she was referred to the <br />County Administrator. <br />The County Administrator reported that he had received maps <br />of the right-of-way alignment of Indian River Boulevard from the <br />State Department of Transportation. He was requested-to'-write.to <br />the Department and acknowledge receipt of the maps and to inform <br />them that the Board confirms the right-of-way alignment at this <br />point. <br />The Administrator reported that he had researched the Broxton <br />Road problem and had found that forty feet of the right-of-way <br />could be attained by the County through. prescription but that <br />another twenty feet would be needed in order to put the road <br />in condition. A Motion was made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded <br />by -Commissioner Massey and unanimously carried that the Administrator <br />be authorized to negotiate for the addition& twenty feet needed <br />for reconstruction of Broxton Road. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Massey, and unanimously carried, the Administrator was authorized <br />to advertise for bids for the following equipment: <br />hZ Ton Pickup Truck <br />1 Ton Cab and Chassis <br />2 Ton Flatbed Truck <br />Radio Unit <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by Commissioner <br />Bogosian, the Administrator was unanimously authorized to purchase <br />an, extension to the antenna tower. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by Commissioner <br />Bogosian and unanimously carried that the matter of the Mid Florida <br />Utilities, Inc. be tabled until the next meeting, pending study of <br />the franchise. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by Commissioner <br />Loy and the following Resolution was unanimously received and made a <br />part of these minutes. <br />APR 8 1970 <br />3 J <br />
