WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22, 1970 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida met in regular session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, <br />Florida on Wednesday, April 22, 1970 at 8:30 o'clock A. M. <br />Present were Jack U. Dritenbas, Chairman; Richard P. Bogosian, <br />Vice Chairman; D. B. McCullers, Jr.; Alma Lee Loy and Edward J. <br />Massey. Also present were Jack G. Jennings, County Administrator; <br />Paul D. Burch, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; <br />and Alfred H. Webber and Janet N. Turpan, Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and asked if there <br />were any additions or corrections to the minutes of April 8. <br />the Chairman then requested that on Page 7, Paragraph 1, the words <br />"requesting the paving of the road on a 50-50 basis" should be <br />changed to read"the County preparing the road for paving and <br />the property owners assuming the cost of paving". This correction <br />having been made, a Motion was made by Commissioner Loy, seconded <br />by Commissioner Massey and the Minutes of April 8, 1970 were <br />° unanimously approved as corrected. <br />Dewey Walker, County Zoning Inspector, reported on progress <br />on removal of zoning violations. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by <br />Commissioner Bogosian and the request of Chester Clem, Attorney <br />representing Anthony Elso,for public hearing for a zoning change <br />for the purpose of a mobile home park was unanimously approved. <br />Mrs. Frank Baisden appeared before the Board and presented <br />John Morrison, representing Pelican Island Audubon Society and <br />the Sebastian Inlet --Indian River County Area Conservation Club <br />of Micco, who spoke in opposition to permits removing porpoises <br />from Indian River County. On a Motion made by Commissioner <br />McCullers, seconded by Commissioner Loy, the following Resolution <br />was unanimously adopted: <br />APR 2? <br />'y . <br />
