M. having passed, the Chairman <br />announced the continuation of the public hearing for increase <br />in rates for Andy's Sanitation Service and for Rural Sanitation <br />Service. On a Motion made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers, the following Resolution was unanimously <br />i-- adonteds K <br />RESOLUTION 70 - 17 <br />WHEREAS, Andy's Sanitation Service and Rural Sanitation Service each holders <br />of Franchises issued by the Board of County Commissioners to operate garbage <br />services in Indian River County have made application for a rate increase, and <br />WHEREAS, notice was published in the Vero Beach Press Journal on March 12, <br />1970, proof of which has been made a part of the minutes of this Commission, <br />and <br />e WHEREAS, a public hearing was held beginning on April 8, 1970 and continued <br />until April 22, 1970, and <br />WHEREAS, Andy's Sanitation Service and Rural Sanitation Service did present <br />evidence warranting an increase in rates. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Cowlty Commissioners <br />of Indian River County, Florida that the franchises of Andy's Sanitation Service <br />and Rural Sanitation Service are amended to reflect an allowable monthly <br />charge of $2.75 for garbage and trash collection and $3.00 per month in those <br />instances where a customers trash location involves extensive handling and <br />inconvenience. <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />BOA1�D OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />a , <br />
