M. <br />Present were Richard P. Bogosian, Vice Chairman, D. B. McCullers, <br />Jr., Alma Lee Loy and Edward J. Massey. Absent was Jack U. <br />Dritenbas, Chairman. Also presentwere Jack G. Jennings, County <br />Administrator, Paul D. Burch, Attorney to the Board of County <br />i <br />Commissioners and Janet N. Turpan,Deputy Clerk. <br />Acting Chairman Bogosian called the meeting to order and <br />asked if there were any additions or corrections to the Minutes <br />of May -20, 1970. There were none,and upon a Motion made by <br />Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner Massey, the <br />Minutes of May 2.0, 1970 were unanimously approved as written. <br />Dewey Walker, County Zoning Inspector, appeared before the <br />Board and reported on progress made in removing zoning violations, <br />Fred Prestin, Civil Defense Director,appeared-before the <br />Board reporting that the Federal Government was sponsoring a <br />building program in which they allocated 75/ of the cost. The <br />Board decided that this should be followed up from year to year, <br />but that they would be unable to consider building this year. <br />Mr. Prestin also appeared in regard to mailing.. thel-Courttlzouse <br />plane to the Corp of Engineers in Jacksonville for the purpose <br />of reproduction. The Administrator recommended that the plans <br />be sent to Mr. Tom of the Corp of Engineers by insured mail. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried that the blue prints of the <br />Courthouse plans be mailed by insured mail to Mr Remi Tom of the <br />Army Corp of Engineers for the purpose of reproduction. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers, it was unanimously carried that the request <br />of the City of Vero Beach to attach a water main to the bridge <br />I <br />at 30th Street and Club Drive be granted.
