Curtis Hunter and other residents of Ranch Estates Subdivision <br />appeared in protestation'of a house which was being moved into <br />the subdivision, and were told that the Board had no legal authority <br />at this time to take any action but that the Board would try to <br />amend zoning and building regulations for future purposes. <br />A letter received from Herbert Kale regarding trash and debris <br />in the area of Oslo Road was referred -to the Administrator. <br />The Board then adjourned at 12:00 o'clock Noon and reconvened <br />at 1:30 o'clock P. M. <br />The Board of County Commissioners discussed the first draft <br />of the Clerk's Tentative Budget. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />i <br />Commissioner Loy, on the recommendation of the Administrator, the <br />bids of H. F. Mason Equipment Corporation in the amount of $1,147.82 <br />for the mud pump and in the amount of,$1,640 for the pile driving <br />equipment were unanimously accepted as,the-lowest bids and the best <br />bids. ' <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner L'oy, seconded' by Commissioner <br />McCullers, at the request of Don'Karseboom of the Fe,llsmere Volunteer <br />Fire Department, the County accepts the 1962 fire truck and. agrees to <br />work with the Fellsmere Fire Department in accordance with their plans <br />for the truck. <br />Don Adams, City -County Building Inspector appeared in regard to <br />the house which has been moved into Ranch Estates Subdivision, <br />The Sheriff filed with the Board a statement of his appointment <br />of Everett L. Dougherty, Jr. whose voting precinct is 4A as Deputy <br />Sheriff and the said Deputy Sheriff filled his bond with the.Clerk <br />of the Circuit Court, which was presented to the Board,. On a Motion <br />made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner McCullers.and <br />unanimously carried,. the bond of said Deputy Sheriff was approved <br />and ordered filed with the Clerk of the Circuit Court. <br />
