The Chairman <br />asked if any of these'were present. There were none and upon <br />Motion of Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Mr. Zeuch, the Board <br />unanimously sustained the rejections of the Tax Assessor. <br />The Tax Assessor advised that a letter had been received from <br />Temple Beth E1 Lo Him of.Greater Miami protesting the refusal of <br />the Tax Assessor to give tax exemption to lots in the City of <br />Fellsmere which are.set aside for purposes of religion, education <br />and charity purposes. The Tax Assessor having explained that the <br />property must be used exclusively for that purpose; a Motion was <br />made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner Loy and <br />unanimously carried that the petition be denied. <br />The Tax Assessor advised that petitioners have 15 days in <br />which to oppose current tax assessments. Five days being required <br />by law after notification of date of hearing to petitioners, the <br />hearing on tax assessment petitions was scheduled for Tuesday, <br />August 25, 1970 at 9:00 o'clock A.
