EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> ENGINEER will provide professional services as specifically stated below: <br /> 1 . Landscape Opportunities & Constraints Analysis — ENGINEER shall use <br /> COUNTY supplied survey for 45th Street from 43 `d Avenue to US Highway 1 and <br /> overlay that survey onto an aerial using CADD technology . ENGINEER will <br /> then conduct a field inventory of existing conditions that directly influence <br /> landscaping in the right-of--way, including overhead utilities, curbs or no curbs , <br /> existing trees or tree canopies, drainage canals, and other improvement, <br /> ENGINEER will also plot FDOT clear zone requirements for vertical obstructions <br /> and sight triangles at intersections on the overall base map . ENGINEER will then <br /> prepare an opportunities and constraints map depicting areas along the corridor <br /> that can be landscaped or could be landscaped with some modifications to <br /> existing conditions . <br /> ENGINEER will then meet with COUNTY to discuss the opportunities and <br /> constraints for landscaping along the corridor and establish areas that COUNTY <br /> wants to pursue landscaping within the $ 350 , 000 project implementation budget. <br /> ENGINEER will provide three (3 ) hardcopy sets of plans . <br /> 2 . Conceptual Landscape Design Plans — After COUNTY has established the <br /> general areas that where it wants to install landscaping, ENGINEER will prepare <br /> conceptual landscape plans (30% level) for these areas depicting proposed <br /> landscape materials using CADD technology and prepare opinions of probable <br /> costs for implementing the conceptual landscape plans . <br /> ENGINEER will provide color rendered exhibits , which could include plan view <br /> and section view to illustrate the proposed landscape design, and photos of the <br /> proposed landscape palette for COUNTY to use for community workshop <br /> meeting(s) to present the conceptual landscape plans and gain community support <br /> of the locations proposed to be landscaped and the overall landscape theme within <br /> the $ 350 ,000 project implementation budget . <br /> ENGINEER will provide three (3 ) hardcopy sets of plans . <br /> 3 . Modified Landscape Design Plans — After COUNTY attends the community <br /> workshops and has identified community preferences , ENGINEER will update <br /> the Conceptual Design Plan to a 60% complete level for the areas determined to <br /> be landscaped as part of the $ 350,000 project implementation budget. The 60% <br /> plan will depict landscape locations , key dimensions , botanical & common names <br /> of proposed landscape materials and their specifications using CADD technology. <br />
