Mason Equipment Corporation ................ 8,540.00 <br />The Administrator then took the bids for evaluation. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Loy, second of Commissioner Massey, <br />the Board unanimously authorized the Administrator to proceed with <br />his plans to employ Willie McGriff as a year round employee at the <br />Ambersand Beach. <br />At the request of a Committee from the City Council, a meeting <br />with the Committee of the Board of County Commissioners was scheduled <br />on Monday evening, September 28, in the Commission Room at 7:30 o'clock <br />P. M. to discuss transfer of the property adjacent to the Yacht Basin <br />from the County to the City. <br />Chairman Dritenbas left the meeting; and Vice Chairman Bogosian <br />became acting Chairman. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Massey, second of Commissioner McCullers, <br />the Board unanimously authorized the Administrator to proceed with a <br />title search on property acquired for right-of-way for Broxton Road at <br />a cost of approximately $500.00. <br />A map of the Wabasso area appertaining to the location of street <br />lights was to be given to the Attorney for the preparation of the <br />Special Tax District. <br />A letter was received from the Rockridge Property Owners reminding <br />the Commission, that they, too, had requested a Special Taxing District. <br />The Board expressed willingness to also work with this group. <br />The hour of 10:00 o'clock A. M. having passed, the Board then <br />proceeded with the continuation of the public hearing of the Hobart <br />,Landing Service Company. Attorney George Heath, James S. Beindorf and <br />Fred Briggs appeared in behalf of the Hobart Company. Mr. Briggs <br />explained that due to the objections expressed at the opening of the <br />public hearing on September 9, the Hobart sanding Service Company <br />had changed the request for the franchise to include the Hobart land <br />190 <br />
