<br />FRIDAY,IIT, 30th 1929.
<br />The -Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River 'County, Florida, met
<br />at the Court House in Fero Beach, on Friday, August 30th 1929. -in special call
<br />sessionnwith the following members of the Board presents Albert 0. Helseth,Cha,iirman;
<br />J X.LeBruoe; J'.D.Yohgue; J.J.P.Hamilton and John H. Atkin, also present were Miles
<br />Warren, Clerk and Clark S. Rice, Sheriff.
<br />The Chairman announced the speoial,meeting was called for the purpose of
<br />receiving the report of S.N.Saith and C.P.Diaamond, Special Investigators, heretofore
<br />employed by the Board to investigate and report into the financial condition of the
<br />County.
<br />S. N. Smith, appeared before the Board and read aloud in open meeting the re-
<br />port " a,s submitted by himself and C.P.Diemond.
<br />On motion made by Commissioner ruoe, .eecohded by Commissioner Atkin, and
<br />unanimously carried, it was ordered that the report be receiv6d and referred to the.
<br />Board's 'Attorney for advice and report at some special meeting of this Board, when
<br />the attorney advises the Chairman he is ready to report, such meeting to be cot later
<br />than Monday, September 16th 1929.
<br />On motion made, seconded and carried, the Board then -adjourned until the regu-
<br />lar meeting to be held in September 1929.
