<br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida met in
<br />special session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, Florida on Friday, October 16,1970 .
<br />at 10:00 o'clock A. M. Present were Jack U. Dritenbas, Chairman; D. B. McCullers, Jr.;
<br />Alma Lee Loy and Edward J. Massey. Absent was Richard P. Bogosian, Vice Chairman,
<br />Also present were Jack G. Jennings, County Administrator; George Collins, acting as
<br />Attorney to the Board; Homer C. Fletcher, Tax Assessor; Gene E. Morris, Tax Collector;
<br />and Alfred H. Webber and Janet N. Turpan, Deputy Clerks.
<br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and explained that the meeting was
<br />called in order to inspect and approve the 1970 Tax Rolls.
<br />The Tait Assessor presented the Tax Rolls for the Year 1970, which were examined
<br />and found to be correct. He reported the following taxon uxtundeds
