Barber Bridge. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Loy, second of Commissioner Massey, <br />the Board unanimously approved payment of bills 227,229 and 230 <br />to Smith, Heath, Smith and O'Haire fur*,condemnation suits on <br />SR 600 SR 611 and SR607 in the amount of $2,649.10. <br />On Motion of Commi@mionor Loy, @®Cond of Commi®®i®n@r MoCu11®r®, <br />the Board unanimously approved renewal of Notary Public for Ernestine <br />Park. <br />Chester Clem, Attorney, appeared in behalf of the Retail <br />Liquor Association of Vero Beach, requesting that the Board take <br />action to extend the hours of these businesses from 1:00 o'clock A.M. <br />to 2:00 o'clock A. M. daily, except Sunday. James Graves, Minister <br />of the First Baptist Church; Hayes B. Davis, Pastor of.the Forest <br />Park Baptist Church; and James R. Thompson and other members of the <br />Ministerial Association appeared in protest of the change. <br />After considerable discussion, Motion was made by Commissioner Massey, <br />seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried that the <br />Board authorizes advertisement for public hearing on December 9, 1970 <br />for ordinance to extend the hours of the liquor businesses in 'the <br />County. The Clerk was authorized to advise the City Clerk .as to the <br />action of the Board. <br />The hour of 10:00 o'clock A.
