<br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County,
<br />Florida met in regular session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach,
<br />Florida on Wednesday, November 18, 1970 at 8:30 o'clock, A. M.
<br />Present were Jack U. Dritenbas, Chairman; Richard P. Bogosian,
<br />Vice Chairman; Alma Lee Loy and Edward J. Massey. Absent was
<br />D. B. McCullers, Jr. Also present were Jack G. Jennings, County
<br />Administrator; Paul D. Burch, Attorney to the Board of County.
<br />Commissioners; and Alfred H. Webber, Ralph H. Stewart and Janet
<br />N. Turpan, Deputy Clerks.
<br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and asked if there .
<br />were any additions or corrections to the minutes of the•regular
<br />meeting of November 4, 1970. There were none and upon Motion of
<br />Commissioner Loy, second of Commissioner Massey, the. Board unanimously
<br />approved the minutes of the meeting of November 4, 1910 as written.
<br />On .Motion of Commissioner Loy, second of Commissioner Massey,
<br />the Board unanimously adopted the following Resolution:
<br />RESOLUTION NO. 70-52
<br />WHEREAS, there exists a boundary dispute between INDIAN RIVER
<br />COUNTY, FLORIDA, and FREDERICK NEWSOME, as to the South five feet
<br />of Lot 13, Block 13, VEROMAR SUBDIVISION, Plat No. 1, Plat Book 1, page
<br />88, Indian River County Public Records, and
<br />WHEREAS, FREDERICK NEWSOME has offered $500.00 to the
<br />county for clear title to the property, and
<br />WHEREAS, there is no public use for which said property could be
<br />used and in order to settle the dispute,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian
<br />River County, that the county will sell to Frederick Newsome the five feet
<br />above described for $500.00 by deed attached hereto. yry p
